Manny Jacinto is a Filipino-born Canadian actor who played the dual role of Qimir / "The Stranger" in the 2024 Disney+ series The Acolyte. Born in Manila and raised in Canada, he transitioned from a background in civil engineering and hip-hop dance into a prominent Hollywood acting career. For his Star Wars role, he utilized his athletic training to perform his own complex lightsaber martial arts choreography while wearing a specialized, vision-impairing helmet.
