Introducing Tales of the Jedi, animated anthology shorts. Hosted by Amy Ratcliffe with special guest Dave Filoni.

Panel Recap

The Tales of the Jedi panel introduced the animated anthology series from Dave Filoni. Hosted by Amy Ratcliffe with Filoni as the featured guest, the panel presented the first major public details about the six-part Disney+ series. Filoni described the series as following two paths and two choices, with episodes split between Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku.

The panel revealed that Ahsoka and Dooku would each receive three episodes, showing the characters at different points in their lives. The Dooku material included a younger Count Dooku and his Padawan, Qui-Gon Jinn. Liam Neeson and his son were confirmed as voices for Qui-Gon at different ages.

The audience saw the premiere episode, “Life and Death,” which depicted Ahsoka’s birth and an early adventure with her mother, Pav-ti. Janina Gavankar appeared on stage and was revealed as the voice of Pav-ti, marking her return to Star Wars after playing Iden Versio in Star Wars Battlefront II. Filoni also described the Dooku stories as darker in tone than the Ahsoka premiere.
