A prescreening session for the Star Wars Collectibles Road Show. Collectors brought unusual, unidentified or difficult-to-value items for preliminary review by experienced collecting panelists. The point was to identify pieces that deserved closer public discussion during the later Road Show panel. Items that were rare, poorly documented, locally produced, heavily altered or absent from standard price guides were the best candidates. Common modern pieces and ordinary packaging errors were less useful for the format, since the session was designed around objects that could teach the room something new.
