The Costume Parade was a moving showcase of fan costuming through the convention space. Costumers appeared in Star Wars outfits ranging from troopers and Jedi to aliens, droids, bounty hunters and character recreations. Unlike the judged pageant, the parade emphasized visibility and spectacle, giving attendees around the West Hall Lobby a chance to see fan-made costumes in motion. It also showed how central costuming had become to Celebration culture, with the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, Jedi Assembly and independent costumers all contributing to the visual energy of the weekend.
