Collectors Social Hour gave Star Wars collectors a dedicated evening time to meet, talk and network outside formal presentations. The event complemented the collecting panel track by giving attendees a space to compare notes, discuss finds, meet presenters or other collectors and build relationships that could continue after the convention. It treated collecting as a community activity rather than a series of isolated purchases.
