Kenner’s final foray into Star Wars toys in the 1980s was a short-lived series of toys for the Droids and Ewoks cartoons. After only one wave of figures the line was cancelled, and Kenner wouldn’t make another Star Wars toy for a decade. Kenner had planned many more figures that were never produced, and the success of the cartoons in some countries prompted them to produce their own unique collectibles.
