During the Q&A, Hamill said he had not read the Expanded Universe novels because it had taken time to distance himself from Luke Skywalker, but he reacted enthusiastically when fans told him Luke had a son named Ben. Asked about a possible future Episode VII with an older Luke, Hamill recalled George Lucas once telling him during the original trilogy era that a sequel trilogy might arrive around 2011, when Hamill would be old enough to play Luke decades later.
