Billy Dee Williams is an American actor best known in the Star Wars franchise for portraying Lando Calrissian, the charismatic gambler, smuggler and former owner of the Millennium Falcon. He first appeared as Lando in The Empire Strikes Back and returned in Return of the Jedi, later reprising the role decades later in The Rise of Skywalker. Williams’ performance made Lando one of the saga’s most recognizable supporting characters and a lasting figure in Star Wars pop culture.
