By the Numbers: Programming

More Than You Could Ever See

There's a lot to squeeze into a few days at Star Wars Celebration. The average show has around 137 different programming items, with about 40 hours of programming happening across its stages each day. And some editions have taken that schedule to a whole other level.

Items and sessions

Celebration I had just 34 different programming items, but repeated fan-room events brought the total to 82 sessions. By Anaheim 2022, the schedule featured 261 different items. That's quite a leap in things to choose from.

Dark bars count each panel once. The lighter bars add the repeat sessions, which were common for fan-room and family programming. Some years' schedules recorded those repeats and some didn't, so the dark bars are the fair comparison.

Hours of programming

Celebration VI in 2012 holds the record, packing 391 hours of programming across 22 stages. That's a lot of reasons to wish you could be in two places at once.
