Speculation has been a staple of fan life since the earliest days of Star Wars fandom. Join us as Into A Larger World fanzine editor Kara DJ chats with podcaster Michelle Wittlich (Unknown Regions Podcast) and fellow Star Wars fanatic and zine slinger Robin Arnold about the earliest years of fan speculation, from fanzines to the beginning of the digital age. We’ll also discuss the effect of social media on fan theorizing and how speculation helps or hinders Star Wars and the fan community writ large.
