The Ahsoka panel brought Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau together with members of the series cast for a first major Celebration look at the upcoming Disney+ series. Confirmed participants included Rosario Dawson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ray Stevenson, Lars Mikkelsen, Diana Lee Inosanto, and Ivanna Sakhno.

The presentation highlighted Ahsoka Tano’s move into her own live-action series and the live-action introductions of major Star Wars Rebels characters, including Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, and Grand Admiral Thrawn. Lars Mikkelsen’s appearance confirmed that he would reprise the role of Thrawn in live action after voicing the character in Star Wars Rebels.

The cast discussed stepping into characters with long histories in animation and fandom. Dawson reflected on carrying Ahsoka forward after the character’s live-action debut, while Bordizzo and Winstead spoke about bringing Sabine and Hera into live action. Stevenson and Sakhno discussed the new Force-wielding characters Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati, while Inosanto returned as Morgan Elsbeth.

The panel helped frame Ahsoka as a continuation of threads from Star Wars Rebels and the New Republic era of The Mandalorian. The presentation included new footage and trailer material for the series.
