A collector panel about managing very large Star Wars collections. The presenters discussed cataloging, databases, storage, organization, preservation, display and field research for collections that contain thousands or tens of thousands of pieces. The session looked beyond simple acquisition and focused on the systems needed to understand and maintain a collection at scale. It also addressed buying strategy, household space, framing, long-term care and how collectors decide what belongs in an expansive archive rather than a casual shelf display.
